What is stored on your device

• Low carbon setting: if you switch on Low carbon, your browser remembers that choice (saved as "alaagi-tide" in local storage). It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
• Website hosting: our host, Framer, may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technology to deliver the site securely and count visits in total. These are needed for the site to work.
• YouTube videos: if you press play on an embedded video, YouTube may set its own cookies. Google's privacy policy explains how they use them.
• Language: if you pick a language other than English, your choice is saved in a cookie called "googtrans" and Google Translate translates the page. Google may set its own cookies when it does. Pick English again to remove it.

Your choices

You can clear the setting we store using the button above, and you can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. The site still works if you do.
